May 28 2013:

We have confirmation on another lcd screen working with the UniMac V4 Kit. The LG LP171WP4 (TL) (B5) works great. This screen is very commonly found in the HP DV9000 series laptop, this laptop had a horrible Nvidia GPU defect, and now the laptops are very often sold very cheap or even given away. We are glad this lcd works because it will help bring down the price of the repair for those willing to do the legwork to salvage the used screen.

UniMac V4 now compatible with even more screens!

We can now add 3 more LCD screens to the compatibility list:
LG LP171WU1 (A4) (K2)
Samsung LTN170WU-L01
Samsung LTN170WU-L01-G
That's right, we can now welcome Samsung to the party. This is important becuase Samsung screens can often be found at a lower cost than comparable LG screens.
The Samsung screens are only compatible with UniMac V4 adapters purchased after November 1st 2012.
