SONY - GENERAL REPAIR TIPS

• SONY KDL32U-2000 LCD TV: NO PICTURE:

Check SMD fuse [CP101-p] on the LVDS board.  This board  can be located behind the (BDT) board.

• SONY KDL 32S-2010E:  SWITCHES TO STANDBY, AND THEN BACK AGAIN.
• Replace push button switch {Standby} on the front panel control. It is faulty.   

SONY KDL 40U-2000.  FRONT LED BLINKS THRICE. NO START UP.

Check and replace {C6055-47Mfd/25V} at G2 power supply.  Check the heat and standby voltage (5V) at PSU.  The set will have slow startup probelm before this symptom has occured.

SONY KDL 32-U2000 {LCD TV}:

Snandby light is Green, and the set struk in standby.

LED flashes three times, and no functions with front panes switches or with remote control.

Check and replace {D301- 5V Zener diode}. 

SONY KDL-40U2000 [LCD TV].  LED TURNS GREEN AFTER FOUR FLASHES, AND THIS PROCESS REPEATS.

Replace the  [500ma Fuse] on the inverter panel.
